Please note: A helmet and clip-in pedals are required to join our social rides. Don’t have them? No worries, get in touch with us, and we’ll help you out!
We also highly recommend bringing a multi-tool, pump, and spare tube. That way, you won’t need to rely on the generosity of others if something goes wrong, it’s much more considerate!
Please respect all traffic laws, even on ‘drop-rides’, we’ll enforce a ban on joining future rides if your putting yourself and/or others in danger.
Basic Mechanics Class
Have you ever wanted to learn more about the bike you spend so many hours on? Now you can with Edward’s Workshop! This class is designed for beginner cyclists and those looking to gain a better understanding of bike maintenance and how to keep their bike in optimal condition.
In this workshop, we will cover essential maintenance tasks, including: how to easily replace an inner tube, adjusting a derailleur (and why both derailleurs and brakes may require occasional adjustments), understanding how ball bearings work, and how to identify potential issues with your bike.
The workshop lasts 2 hours, with ample time for questions. Group sizes are limited to 5 participants, and the cost is €50 per person, which includes drinks and snacks. The Basic Mechanics Class is offered on Tuesday evenings.**
Intermediate Mechanics Class
If you’re looking to take your (modern) road bike knowledge to the next level, this is the class for you! The workshop will take you through various more challenging topics such as tubeless tire set-up, adjusting electronic gears and caring for your hydraulic brakes. Edward will be taking the time to improve your (home-) mechanics skills, so you can confidently work on your own pride & joy.
The workshop lasts 2 hours, with ample time for questions. Group sizes are limited to 5 participants, and the cost is €60 per person, which includes drinks and snacks. The Intermediate Mechanics Class is offered on Saturday afternoons at 15:00.**
** We also offer group or private sessions upon request! So, if you'd like to arrange a class for your friendship group or cycling club, simply get in touch with us via WhatsApp or email, and we’ll work with you to schedule the session!
